Grading System

Our grading system provides a structured and comprehensive way to evaluate students’ academic performance. It is designed to recognize excellence while ensuring a fair and objective assessment of abilities across a range of subjects, with a particular emphasis on core subjects, including English.

Pass with distinction shall be an aggregate score of 80% and above on a minimum of six subjects plus a pass in English language
First Class shall have a 70-79% aggregate score on a minimum of five compulsory subjects plus English.
Second Class shall have an aggregate score of 60-60%, including a minimum pass of 4 subjects (English included).
Ordinary Pass shall be a 50-59% aggregate score, including a minimum of 4 subjects plus a pass in English language
Promotion shall be based on an aggregate score of 45-49%, including a pass in a minimum of two compulsory subjects plus one elective subject.
Unsuccessful and Must Repeat shall be an aggregate score of 44% and below.
